Blood Found on Peterson's Bedspread
REDWOOD CITY (BCN) -- Investigators scoured Scott Peterson's home, vehicles and warehouse for traces of blood but apparently only found four small spots, according to testimony Monday in his double murder trial.
The four spots were found on the duvet cover in Scott and Laci Peterson's bedroom, according to state Department of Justice criminalist Pin Kyo.
Kyo did not indicate if authorities had linked the blood to either Peterson or his wife.
Police also recovered several small chunks of concrete from a boat tarp found in Peterson's backyard shed, according to Kyo.
Prosecutors have alleged that Peterson, 31, used cement........
Well, as sure as I am that this guy killed his wife, I'm equally sure he'll walk.
Yeah, he's likely a sociopath, but I doubt he's stupid enough to leave a mop and bucket lying around he may have used to clean up his mess.
Blood on the sheets is easy enough to explain -- I won't elaborate on that any further, for obvious reasons... ;-)
come to think about it, that's how that Hacking fella did it .....while his wife was sleeping....great minds think alike ? /sarcasm
"The prosecution should have taken up Vincent Bugliosi's offer to present their case."
Bugliosi offered to try this case? Really? How dumb if it is true and they didn't take him up on it. He is brilliant, and Scotty and Geragos wouldn't have a prayer against him. Please tell me more - I hadn't heard this little tidbit. Thanks!
Your headline should read "Peterson's blood found on Peterson's bedspread"
What I've heard of Geragag's antics just makes me sick. And I know for a fact he has alot of groupies (barf). Bugliosi does his closing argument first, and presents his case around it....he was my "dream prosecutor" for this case. FWIW, I still don't think Scoot will do any better than a hung jury...because the jurors aren't listening to the media which revel in repeating over and over that the pros stinks. I've seen it in other cases, and those cases resulted in a conviction (the "other" Peterson case and Westerfield come to mind).
well if it's a hung jury let's hope Bugliosi steps up for a shot, knowing they won't let him walk
I heard a couple of interesting tidbits this morning while I was getting ready for work (in front of the TV lol), 1) That the bedspread blood spots belonged to Scott, and 2) that the chemicals in the mop water would have destroyed other physical evidence. On the blood spots tho, it makes perfect sense to me that they belong to Scott. The reason being that when he came up behind her and started smothering and strangling her, she began to struggle. Laci had LONG fingernails. I believe SHE is responsible for the cuts to Scotts hands. Who knows, during the scuffle, they could have rolled around on the bed a bit. I don't believe Laci went down without a fight. She just wasn't in the condition to really fight AND the creep had her at a distinct disadvantage by coming up from behind and grabbing her with something over her head. It's a disgusting visual in my mind. But those "cuts" were NOT from any tool box - they came from Laci's fingernails. Of course Laci's hands are gone!!
Thanks Lynn.

Absolutely Searching. All Snott ever said, was "yeah"! or um-hmm!!
You seriously don't KNOW this case. It is an extremely strong circumstantial case!! Just ask some of the professionals such as John Q. Kelly (won the HUGE civil case against Simpson) and Geoffrey Feiger. The only thing is they think that the Prosecution is giving the Jury too much evidence BUT the evidence needed to convict is there for any Juror who will honestly deliberate. Besides, IT'S NOT OVER!!
S4J - Laci's MUST have been undressing. She still had on her pants that went with the top that was found firstly hanging out of the hamper, THEN during the search warrant in February, wadded up and stuffed in the back of a dresser drawer. I think she was likely taking her shirt off OVER her head when he struck from behind. She was "buried" with her maternity bra on.
That would have been great Annie. But Bugliosi is from LA. Although that may not matter since he's licensed to practice in California. It's my understanding that he has been retired for some years however. I guess he could easily resurrect his law licence. I had never heard that before.
I have been disturbed too Jax!! The reason, the Judge is the one that should be controlling Geragross. Truth is tho, Geragos has made quite a few faux pas. He is continually attempting to make jokes and he is very sarcastic with witnesses. The Jury, according to Beth Karas, does NOT laugh with the Exception of that #6, friend of former #5.
Thanks Jackie. I wonder why Lisa Bloom said that the blood on the bedspread was Snotts? It still may be but she sounded like it had been revealed already. And just watch, as Geragos gets more and more desperate, he will be flipping all over the courtroom. Geragos has absolutely NOTHING. Every singe one of his multiple "theories" has been debunked. He should probably just NOT put on any defense which is what i heard one defense Lawyer suggest he do this morning. But he followed it up with, Geragos won't do that tho. He's going to try to get something before the Jury. The Jury already HATES his client. We have to remember that he's DOWN a lot of points. There is SO much evidence against Scott Peterson's BAD Character that it doesn't take much (or anything for me) to believe that he is capable of murder.
This guy bleeds as often as O.J.
S4J - The Prosecution has an expert coming up that will testify that the ONLY place that Laci's body could have been put in the Bay to wash up where it did is EXACTLY where Peterson said he had launched from. Even CARDOZA who is so Defense orientated, said this is whamdoozie evidence. He stated that it will be the most damaging he's heard to date. That really surprised me that HE would admit to that.
