How long will Dan Rather's "Old Media" memogate stonewall last?
How long until the CBS dinosaur finally keels over, legs in the air, and issues its death rattle?
We'll know when Dan Rather is not at his anchor desk. When will that day come?
Or will Rather survive the total and utter loss of the last tiny shred of his integrity?
Post your dates here for when you think Dan Rather will resign (or be fired) as CBS News anchor and executive producer.

He'll resign in 1973. Except his resignation letter will be typed in Microsoft Word.

I'm guessing he will not return to his anchor desk on Monday September 27th.
Friday the 24th will be his last day spewing 'rat lies for CBS.

Ditto that, he would never allow himself to be shamed into resigning.

Never. This is the sort of thing where, at worst, a few producers will be "reassigned." Anything more would be an admission that CBS news was biased and sloppy on an institutional level.

He'll go through a complete nervous meltdown before he'll resign. Let's just hope it happens on the air. I hope I'll have time to make popcorn before it's all over.

He's already resigned to being retired looking like a fool.
Hey - where's that "crapping bull inside the eye" SeeBS logo graphic? I want to make a new bumper sticker.

He won't.
Just like I said he wouldn't do the on-air retraction.

I suspect sometime after kerry goes back to counting ketchup packs. After the elections, when most Americans
"forget" his "mistake" and he has family matters to deal with.
