Sing, Muse, of your meteoric ascent from a seething pit of pure, all-American white trash.
Sing, also, of five-figure fees for one evening's striptease, and of six-figure film contracts for the company you built.
Sing of rape and addiction and suicide, of thieves and junkies and lies, of vodka, Vicodin, and crystal meth.
But most of all, sing of Sex.
The muse invoked here is, of course, porn goddess Jenna Jameson (formerly Massoli), the star of countless adult films, magazines, and strip clubs -- and CEO of ClubJenna Inc., her film production and online licensing company.
"How To Make Love Like A Porn Star" is her latest product, an autobiography in the form of a rant interspersed with detritus from her life's ricochets, including a sample adult film contract, entries from her diary, comics, and the sprawling transcript from a recent family reunion (which reads like a police blotter).
(snip)
Jameson now sits atop a multimedia company which sells hundreds of thousands of copies of films it produces and innumerable downloads of video clips. She manages over a dozen porn stars. Her club appearances earn her up to $25,000 per show.
And yes, she is married (to producer Jay Grdina) and looks forward to retirement and motherhood, now both comfortably within reach.
So sing, Muse, of a messed-up kid from a ditch on the wrong side of the tracks who climbed to the top of a $3 billion industry, using only the power of her ambition and body.
Sing, Muse, of the glory of America.

Cuz most straight men don't watch porn for the men in them...
Gay people on the other hand....
The GUITAR, people...the GUITAR!
I'm not saying it doesn't happen. It just doesn't happen in my house. If I'd ask my wife to watch a porno with me, I'd be spitting out teeth for a week.
If couples want to watch it, they can watch it.
You've come across the phenomenon of "projection." Some people are incapable of controlling themselves around things like alcohol, drugs, or porn, and they realize this and stay away from those things. Unfortunately, they are under the mistaken impression that everyone else is just like them, when in reality most folks have no problems with the aforementioned items.
What is her objection? She doesn't look like the women? It's gross? She doesn't want to see Ron Jeremy naked??

That show is vile - its basic message is that being masculine means being an idiot.
It didn't even need to go on the list of shows banned in my household.
But that list is getting longer - if she doesn't curb her addiction, I may have to tell my wife that we need a moratorium on those home remodeling shows.
I didn't say that, you did. What I'm saying is that parents should strive to be the best role model that they can be. And is watching porn better than not watching porn as far as role models go?
We ask this of our leaders (not to watch porn or exploit the opposite sex) and of people watching our kids but when it comes to us, its OK.
Among sane people this wouldn't be debatable.
Well, there was that guy who died a few years back with the 14" endowment. My ex-wife loved renting his movies.
"What is her objection? She doesn't look like the women? It's gross? She doesn't want to see Ron Jeremy naked??"
It just makes her uncomfortable, and does anyone want to see Ron Jeremy in the buff?
Seriously though, before I got married, I had a huge stash of porno. My wife had a problem with it, and I threw it away. Porno wasn't worth the headache.
The original version of the show was pretty tongue-in-cheek. We were all in on the joke. Ever since the new guys took over, it's become more crude and a lot darker and I don't get the sense that the two hosts are only pretending to be buffoons.
John Holmes.
So what? I could care less what kind of parent Jenna Jameson could be, or should be. Are we here on FR in the business of ensuring Jenna Jameson is a proper parent?
Are you talking about the movies where the evil man is almost always a crazed lunatic hell bent on killing and that some woman or man in touch with his feminine side comes to the rescue?
I think that it has absolutely nothing to do with it. Engaging in sexual fantasy is something that everyone does, and it's probably even healthy to do so. I don't think lesser of people that watch porn, and I certainly wouldn't say that a person who watches porn inherently has a lesser ability to be a good role model, which is what you are saying, whether you say it indirectly or directly.
Oh, yeah. Wasn't he murdered or something?
