THERE'S an imperfection that might offer a clue as to why Tiger Woods (above) and Swedish stunner Elin Nordegren have reportedly split. He's cheap. A valet at the Rio in Las Vegas tells us Woods is one of the worst tippers ever. "Tiger is arrogant and cheap," the valet said. "He would rather carry his own bag than tip us. But if Tiger is traveling with his dad, his dad compensates for his son's thoughtlessness." On the other hand, another Woods, actor James Woods, is the nicest man — "great guy, friendly, egoless, and great tipper."

Just because a guy earns a lot of money does not obligate him the pass it out to a bunch of moochers like candy. I would rather carry my own bag rather than pay someone else to tote it. The world of the wealthy is like a dirty car pulling up to a traffic light and being acosted by a bunch of "squeegee men".

How about, Just because it is his money, he has the ability to disperse it as he sees fit. Also, if he requests the service then he is obligated to compensate. If the service is not requested but assumed, then no obligation on Tiger's part, but the boss of the one assuming the service is wanted.

Tiger Woods gives all of his vast winnings to charity. He lives off his endorsements and other enterprises, but gives away his golf earnings. If he's cheap then I'm the Pope.
