YIKES!
I guess it's the West Coasters turn for hazardous natural events!
Sometimes I'm vey glad all we have to deal with is cold...
On the other hand (I think I've told this before...I apologize), one of my bosses in Germany met his wife via the Mt. St. Helens eruption back in...what was it? 1980? They were both at university in Montana, but had never really crossed paths, but when they volcano erupted, there was ash EVERYWHERE and the school was temporarily closed down - they told students to stay inside as much as possible. I remember this a bit as we were in Portland, OR at the time...I couldn't go out and play on the swings, and joggers put handkerchiefs over their mouths...
But in any case, because everyone was thrown together, groups of students ended up playing board games and just talking for hours, and THAT was when they met and first started dating!
*laughing*
Oh I ~know~ I've gone over the edge, sis. No worries!
I draw the line at purple dinosaurs though, so we're safe. ;-)
They use to have this show on Nickelodeon back in the day called "You Can't Do That On Television". There was cute boy on there....Alistair.....*dreamy sigh*
LOL!
BTW, can you believe they have a fan site for that show I mentioned? Here's the pic they have of Alasdair (correct spelling according to them)...
WOO HOO!
That wouldn't warrent a woo-hoo in my book!
Heh...though I guess it'd be exciting...from here...
I CAN spell warrant. Really I can.
I take it you live far enough away as to not be affected? *wink*
Oh we aren't in the path of it. We barely got a dusting before, and I think anything more out of this mountain will be more fascinating than damaging.
We aren't that far, but we aren't downwind, or downstream.
OK...then I guess you're allowed your woo-hoo. ;-)
Ranier would be a different story entirely, no?
Rainier would be damaging, but much much cooler. The likes of which few get to witness! :~D
Just be sure to take pictures!
Soupy here, just popping by to post a lovely little picture I found online:
Nyah-hah XD
And by the way, I happen to like Full Moon's happy fluffy ending. The last, what, twelve episodes were so full of angst, the characters rather needed a break, don't you think? ^_~
*waves to Soupy!!*
Hi Soupy-kun! Long time no see!
Ha! Love that. Will have to send it to my sisters who are also rabid Fullmetal Fangirls, thanks to you.
Don't tell anyone, but I still have a happy glow from the ending of Full Moon. I was rootin' for Takuto as soon as I was sure he wasn't Mitsuki's father. And I want to learn the words to "Myself". It's a lovely song... oh, I need this series to own... maybe my coworker will make me a copy. My sisters need to see it too. (Most interesting bit, I thought, was how the same song can sound so different depending on the singer. Mitsuki's version of "Eternal Snow" was so different from Madoko's, and Takuto's was even more different)
[hijack again!]
*waves back!*
Funny!
By the way... Full Moon wo Sagashite isn't licensed... maybe I can get you a copy of that. That'd keep you busy for a while, no?
