Subject: News from Afghanistan
I received a certificate from XXXXXX's father, XXXXXX, who is one of the soldiers we are sending packages. The certificate says "This is to certify this flag flew over Kandahar Army Airfield, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom on August 31, 2004 and is presented to XXXXXX Employees."
The American Flag and the certificate will be displayed in the lobby of the main service building of XXXXXXX. Thanks again for all your donations.
It looks like they kept up the flag gifts after the Renegades left.

This talk of flags reminds me... I still want to get one to hang from my balcony... hope I can remember to do it.
Hee... we just had a meeting about whether to make filesharing methods against the rules here. It was very funny to hear my coworkers insisting that they only download stuff it's legal to download when I know that at least occasionally they make exceptions to that policy... and we're the ones to enforce the policy...

The terrorists started lobbing mortars at their air base as soon as the 82nd started arriving Weds.

Remember some months back when I got this weird catalogue in the mail from "Fantasies In Lace Lingerie.com"? In Vero Beach FLA? (Bear you might be able to tell when that was) By the looks of the website they appear to cater to cross dressers.
Well, nothing else came of it except the faint memory of getting this catalogue, until this month! This month, I called about a $49 charge I didn't recognize, and I'll be darned if it didn't turn out ot be from that place! I disputed the charge to my bank, who credited me right away (and cancelled that card) But it still remains a mystery how this happened! It's interesting to me that someone would fraudulently charge only $49. Lots of other months I might have just written that off as a charge I forgot to write down, which happens often enough. I wonder if it has happened before, small charges that slipped under the radar. Out of curiosity... I wonder if I could find out more if I contacted the company about it.
Right, suspended = banned for a short period of time.

You might check with the Better Business Bureau and see if any complaints have been filed against the company.
Well, I wondered about that because I immediately suspected the company too.... but I bet the company itself isn't the thief here.... I certainly wouldn't blame Amazon.com if there were unauthorized charges made there.... They're being duped too. I think I doubted the company too because they're such a fringy kind of place.
