Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

It's anime, ksen. You know, evil stuff...
All I know about Sailor Moon is that in the original version, two of the girls are "friends". I think they're sisters in the English dub.
You said you watch Madlax - at what point does it start making sense?

He's fine! He's working a little this morning... this is the anniversary of the 'second day of smooch moot. A year ago today, we went shooting. We thought about doing that again, but year ago today was also much warmer out than today is!

I've only watched through ep 7 and it is kind of wierd but somethings are starting to take shape.
It involves a book, this misty organization called Enfan, Madlax, and the other girl who's name escapes me.
I just downloaded 8 and 9 last night so I'll watch those while getting some others. I'll let you know when it really starts making sense.

If you celebrate it, fine, but we've moved on to the next Kerry scandal already.

It just sort of feels so disjointed. I can't figure out how Margaret and Madlax are connected, and there's so much general weirdness.
Also the anime club finds ways of making any line sound perverted. That doesn't help.

I think Madlax is the one who rescued Margaret from the airplane crash and returned her home. Other than that I don't know either.

I'm only up to episode 5 so I don't know about the airplane crash. Right now we're theorizing that Margaret's maid is doping her to keep her so loopy.

That's ok, it's not too spoilered. We watch two episodes of that, and two of Naruto, every week.

Heads UP!
I heard from the Renegade Chaplain! Just out of the blue. He wanted to let me know that the Renegades are being deployed. I've asked for more info, but here is the original email...
Kim, I hope things are going well down in the OK! Our Unit received word a short time ago that we are again going to the front lines in support of the Global War on Terrorism next year. As always, we covet your prayers above all else. We would also love to have the support of the great Americans of the Hobbit Hole once again. We will definitely be in contact once again. Thank you again for everything you and the Hobbit Hole did for me and the paratroopers of the 307th.
Blessings,
Chaplain, 307th FSB
82D Airborne Division
