The Hobbit Hole XV - Pass them by! Pass them by!
See our freeper.the-hobbit-hole.net home page! ^

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Pass them by! Pass them by!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

You didn't ask me, but I think they're one and the same. Seattle-Tacoma Airport. Sea-Tac.

That is correct. It's aproximately halfway between Seattle and Tacoma. Here in the Olympia area, we are about an hour or so from the airport (depending on traffic).

I'm here. Just been busy lately.

I'm caught up on Samurai 7 and Full-Metal Alchemist.

I've been experimenting with new ones:

1) Secret of the Cerulean Sand: Pretty good adaptation of some Jules Verne story or another

2) Madlax: A female James Bond type story. I've watched three episodes so far and I kind of like it, although it is not for the kids.

3) Naruto: Tried Naruto but there was too much partial nudity for me to let the kids watch it, although it did look pretty funny.

4) Macross Zero: Looks like it has awesome graphics and a cool story line.

5) Macross 7: I thought that one was a little silly.

And that's it so far.

I don't think he's a heartthrob either, but a lot of women do.

Give me a slightly manlier man, thanks.

No kidding.

No to mention he ALWAYS plays the same character...a kind of shy, awkward wimp. Some variations, but mostly pretty much the same guy. It's not a character I find appealing.
