Prayers please
From Living Stone

Freeper Bosslady's elderly grandmother is very ill, and the hospice she is in is not providing a satisfactory level of care. Bosslady is 1500 miles away from her family, and is rather upset about the situation. I would very kindly appreciate your prayers for this situation to improve, and for peace of mind for Bosslady and her family.

I did not want to start a separate prayer thread for this request, but all the prayers that can be mustered would be deeply appreciated. Bosslady is all alone away from her family, and is kind of feeling it now.

I am sure she would be grateful for any words of encouragement at this time.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the love of family and for Your admonition that honor belongs to father and mother of each generation. The love for grandmother fills Bosslady's heart, O God, and her desire is that those caring for this frail woman would honor her with compassionate and respectful care. Touch the heart of every caregiver, Merciful Father, and establish with each the tender care they would wish for their own. Bring forth an advocate for her, if that is the need ... whether from the ranks of hospice itself, or from the offices of senior services ... may there be someone to be an extension of Bosslady's love. Quiet her heart ... give assurance that You stand guard over her beloved grandmother ... may they both be comforted by the beauty of Your Word and the prayers of the saints.

Bosslady, you are not alone, as you can see.

To those of you who responded so swiftly to my request for prayers, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

God has blessed this country in that there are such fine folks as all of you in it.
