I just could not believe what I saw. I mean, here is a military leader who has been suspended. She seems to think she is not at all responsible for any of the events.

What caught my eye here is pending report by Lisa Myers interviewing retired Rear Admiral William Schachte.
I had tried to post something earlier, but, consider vanity, so I hope this remains.
I have been following the BG for awhile. She gives interviews only to the foreign press. When I saw the exclusive and what she had to say, I was so angry. I mean, I would kick her out as well, or keep her from talking while this is in the courts. But, hey, she did not know anything, did not see anything and has nothing to say. But, why was she on Matthews then.
At least the Sen. tried to correct the record.
It would take a hell of a lot more than a post to get me to switch to Slimeball. Not even free beer would do it. A winning ticket on MegaMillions might do it.

That caught my eye until I watched the interview with the General. Lisa Meyers interview might be of interest, thank you for pointing that out.
If so, I would try and get a picture of her doing hard labor. Oh they really do not do hard labor anymore. She will receive NO punishment for her actions.
I had to laugh at a post that someone made about the bodies that were found in the Muslim shrine after Sadr left. The poster asked if the bodies had panties on their heads. Then I glanced at the newspaper picture of the shrine and right next to the picture they had a headline about Abu Ghraib.
It will be interesting how Rear Admiral William Schachte stands up to Chris. He looked like he could hold hiw own.

Matthews is vying to the be the liberal media's poster boy. He is stooping to blatant liberal tactics, using his HORRIBLY BIASED program to set up conservative "guests".
IMHO, the liberal media is losing it. They do not know what to do since they now have to compete with conservative news outlets, and outlets that air both sides of arguments -- they have been spoiled for so long, having it always their biased way, they are just beside themselves and coming apart.
This is why I never watch the known lib networks and shows. They are crap, plain and simple. They are no longer interested in professional journalism, or anything like it -- they have so much invested in Kerry and the far-left, they can't turn back. They will get just what they deserve -- the YELLOW DOG DEMS, the mindless portion of the masses, which their programming is obviously targeted towards.

And, if the responsible officer knew nothing about conditions at Abu Ghraib, how can she say anybody in the Pentagon would know?

I agree! I got control of my MSM addiction about a year ago. I am so thankful.
In her case, her command was completely dorked up, which was her responsibility. Her command has done more damage to our efforts in Iraq than even the apparent lack of stockpiles of WMD (the illegal program to turn SA-2s into ballistic missiles doesn't rise to level of high crimes and misdemeanors.)
Several years ago the Navy lost a true hero, Stanley Arthur who made the mistake of telling a senator that one of his constituents was in fact a horrible pilot despite being a female. He lost his job for telling the truth, something this MP general has yet to do.
Well, I see your point. I am much stonger on reading publications that seem to lean left, only because if we can send a letter to the editor to correct the record then I hope those on the fence might see the truth.
Lisa, did an OK job. Of course, Chris is just sucking up to the Kerry camp. He is not unbiased. I wonder why the Admiral did not do the interview with Chris. HMMMMMMM
