Admiral telling Myers he and Kerry were in the boat that night, he thought he saw something move. His gun jammed, so did Kerry's, and Kerry fired a grenade launcher too close to the boat. He realized Kerry nicked himself, there was no enemy fire - ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN OF IT. "He did not deserve his first purple heart, you can characterize it any way you want."
Of course Myers has to mention that Schachte has no documentary proof of his claim. Shows a clip of Zaladonis claims that Schacte was not in the boat at all. Myers asks "Why no after action report?" of Schacte. Schacte: "Because there WAS no action."

Sounds like Schacte is holding his own pretty well to me, Lisa. Forceful and definite. I wouldn't want to be the one to challenge this man's claim.
Now here comes Chris saying you can win a purple heart for flying shrapnel, "you don't have to be shot." Matthews: "How does he know they weren't being shot at?" Myers: "He says because there was no return fire." Matthews: "Well, maybe they actually shot and killed the guy!"
Sigh...pathetic.
