WOW - Ben Ginsburg Just Ripped Pat Buchannan a New A-Hole

Ginsburg is my new hero. He strongly sticks up for the Swift Vets and the President. Just smacked Buchannan into the ground ruthlessly.

I saw it also and have to agree. Buchanan was throwing slow balls right down the middle. He makes a poor devil's advocate, but it was fun to watch.

"Buchanan intentionally asked the questions he did, in the intentional fashion he did, so as to intentionally allow
Ginsburg the opportunity to respond in the way he did."

I don't believe that for a second. Pat has been a shill for the MSM for some time now, plus Ginsburg was visibly annoyed by the questions.

everyone knows that the DNC lies on a day to day basis at all levels of command.

I only wish everybody did know this. That's the issue for me.

He just recently stated in a column that Bush is the best candidate.

Pat knows Ginsburg can handle his questions.

Young people don't realize that Pat, Buckley, and Reagan were basically the only consevatives allowed on television for about 10 years 1975-1985. He had the lonely job of defending Conservatism during the heyday of the Post-Watergate class of Liberals.

Pat and Reagan were very good during the Panama Canal debates on public television. Cut Pat a little slack.

He's out of any official capacity with the Bush campaign, but I wonder if he's still working in an unofficial capacity.

Or perhaps you would like to discuss the issue face to face.

You're such a flirt.

Nahhhh...I wouldn't accuse Pat of anything like that. All I would ask would be "If you decide to run again for national office, would you pick a communist as a running mate like last time?"

Remember her?

Pat has adopted the tool of the liberal media:

Pat is the adopted tool of the liberal media.

Much better.

How about a McCain/Buchanan ticket in '08? (Birds of a feather)

"He said the reason he's not investigating MoveOn.org's relationship with the DNC is that the MoveOn.org ads aren't having any effect."

So, he's investigating the Swifties because they are having a negative effect on the Kerry campaign?

Does ANYONE still wonder whose side Buchanan is on?

That's why Buchanan is irrelevant.

Excellent post. That bit of perspective is very useful for evaluating the quality, or lack of it, in the current group of actors.

Yeah Luis. The more airtime for the Swifties, the better!!!
You don't think PJB's gonna put MoveOn.org on his show and give them nationwide publicity, do you?

(Good grief, of course you do. You get everything bass-ackwards.)

Does ANYONE still wonder whose side Buchanan is on?

Not at all, Luis.
Never did.
There's absolutely no doubt Pat backs the Swifties 1000%
Pretty slick how he can set it up to make Ginsburg look good, isn't it?

"The more air time for the Swifties, the better!"

Pat couldn't get air time if he ran naked through "Dollywood" during the Annual Pigeon Forge Mountain Quiltfest carrying a blind possum.

Pat needs the Swiftes to get air time for himself, and to try maintaining a semblance of relevancy, he's trying to catch a ride on their media whirlwind.

He's investigating them because they are impacting the Kerry campaign negatively, and he wants to cast a shadow of doubt on their campaign.

Of course, in order for him to actually be able to do that, Pat would need to have some measure of political credibility, which is a difficult thing to do when you're the guy used to round off the votes to a perfect 100% after they've have been counted.
