WOW - Ben Ginsburg Just Ripped Pat Buchannan a New A-Hole
Scarborough Country | self

Ginsburg is my new hero. He strongly sticks up for the Swift Vets and the President. Just smacked Buchannan into the ground ruthlessly.

I saw it, too. He asked why Buchanan was not grilling the Democratic attorneys who have ties to 527's. On Scarborough Country. Last guest.

Well, Ginsburg jumped on him the way he jumped on Chris Bury last night, but Buchanan got in the last word.

He said the reason he's not investigating MoveOn.org's relationship with the DNC is that the MoveOn.org ads aren't having any effect.

Should have saw him last night on NightLine, he ripped the stand in a new a-hole. I see now the democrats didnt care that he worked on both the swiftvets and bush, that was just a plus to them, this man is obviously very dangerous to them and there positions. There mistake is now he will hopefully be a point man extraordinaire for the republicans.

He ask PJB where were you and all the rest of the MSM, when the 527's were spending 63 mil. against President Bush.

Here we go again. Here comes the usual lies about Buchanan being an anti-Semite, a protectionist, and someone who almost cost Bush the 2000 election in Florida. He might be a shadow of his old self but I still have a great deal of respect for Buchanan.

I saw it, and he didn't destroy Buchanan. Buchanan was setting him up with questions for him to knock out of the park

Buchanan wanted to ask the tough questions so that Ginsberg could answer the questions directly. He's worked with Ginsberg before, and I'm sure he's seen Ginsberg's performance on Nightline last night, so he knew Ginsberg would look good.

Interesting. Situation ethics. So it's only wrong if there is any effect. Otherwise it doesn't matter.

Pat has adopted the tool of the liberal media: always frame the debate in terms unfavorable to Republicans. Pat is a guy that has an erection for the Bush family because he lost in 92, and has never gotten proper satisfaction for it.

Wanted to know why there was no complaints about claims that Bush was poisoning pregnant women. Buchanan refused to criticize the Dems and their 527s. He did however praise the Swift Boat Vets and said that more Republicans, not just Dole, should support them.

Tried to trap Ginsburg into saying that it was inconsistent for him to represent the President who said that Kerry's service was honorable and to represent the SBV's who said the opposite. Ginsburg was on fire blasting Buchanan for his "withering" scrutiny. Buchanan did admit that the Dems were not scrutinized because the media wants Kerry to be elected.

He was laughing when he said that nobody has looked into Moveon.org and DNC connections, as if to say, nobody would believe anything that came out of Moveon.org, and also everyone knows that the DNC lies on a day to day basis at all levels of command.

I thought it was a very good exchange.

Buchanan intentionally asked the questions he did, in the intentional fashion he did, so as to intentionally allow Ginsburg the opportunity to respond in the way he did.

This isn't brain surgery people.

"You have as much political acuity as my cat."

Care to elaborate? Or perhaps you would like to discuss the issue face to face.

I think you're right. But all night Buchanan was very "pointed," as Ginsburg noted, in his scrutiny of Ginsburg. There was definitely an edge to it that Ginsburg seemed to feel was either unjustified or part of a double standard.
