California?
I wonder just how many people out there are vets, married to vets, children of vets, or grown up ex-hippies who are embarrassed about the outcome after we pulled out of Vietnam. Of course, there is also a very, very LARGE Vietnamese community in California as well. Hope they are all registered to vote :o)

Most have not received any books yet and are miffed because they are missing out on a big profit item.Capitalism at its best.

I went to B. Dalton Saturday, and she said they had sold out and didn't know when they were getting any more because the publisher couldn't keep up.
Then went to Waldenbooks, the clerk said that they'd had 30 copies, and they flew off the shelves. Said she'd never seen anything like it. Said they now have a long waiting list.
This is in Santa Maria, which luckily, is a conservative oasis between San Luis Obispo and The People's Republic of Santa Barbara.

A propensity for truth lies beneath the deepest layers of cynicism, corruption, and political correctness - simply because this is an integral part of our genetic, survival make-up. When it is internalized that Kerry, as President, would likely bring about uncertainty, weakness, instability, chaos, and very possibly one's own death and that of one's family and off-spring, the individual citizen will tend to go with his survival instincts - not his stated political preferences.

I once lived in Emeryville, at Watergate. Nice group back in Reagan's time, a lot of up and coming capitalists.
I hope Regnery pumps out books in a hurry. It doesn't take long to print and bind them, but distribution, shipping, schlepping them onto the shelves can take a week or more, and in enemy territory, lefty drivers, bookstore employees can drag their feet as well. Keep nudging the stores!
