I'm not familar with that virus, but make sure you have you IE set correctly. Go to tools > internet options and under the general tab make sure you have a web page in the "home page" section. Might not be a virus after all....

I had that and it was a pain to get rid of. I ended up buying norton antivirus and it took care of the problem. It was worth the investment. Nothing worked before that.

you need cwshredder......a browser hijack to an "about:blank"

homepage is a trojan called."coolwebsearch"

get CWSHREDDER....only utility that can get rid of it.

It sounds like you have the same problem my wife had, turns out she had a trojan titled qhost.gen pandasoftware is excellent, without using this program we would have never have known, I called our isp and complained and nobody could resolve the problem.
