Artist sculpts with own fat

An Argentine artist is selling sculptures made out of her own fat which was taken out during a liposuction.

Two kilos of the fat were transformed in two sculptures of the female naked body and are being sold for £250 each.

Called Take a Shower with Me, Nicola Constantino's exhibition also features 100 soaps made with the artist's own fat.

Mrs Constantino told Las Ultimas Noticias: "My work has always been about the body and consumerism.

"I know it is disgusting but I am also aware that those soaps have something that wakes up people's sexuality and eroticism. It is an invitation to put our bodies in contact."

The exhibition is at the Malba museum in Buenos Aires.

For one brief, horrible moment: I honestly thought this was gonna be a Michael Moore-related story. :)

I Googled 'Nicola Constantino' and found this on Lonely Planet:

Six Degrees Buenos Aires
Asha meets synthetic artist Nicola Constantino sketching Recoleta's tombstones and is bowled over by her surreal handbag decorated with human anuses!

My handbags are made from the scalps of liberal prey. BTW, I don't have to complain about butt fat anymore. Now I can make soap out of it and send it to all my favorite liberals.

It's okay.
Lonely Planet is a TV show. Thankfully, there are no images of the a$$-purse.

I am very disappointed that this thread got killed so fast.

I felt it had a LOT of potential for a Friday.

Constantino's "Fur Coat of Human Skin"

The article on this (in Spanish) says that it appears to be made from human skin. I'd be willing to bet that that's a human hair collar, though.
