Why didja bother to get a CO license and plates? Parents moving and not leaving a forwarding address or something?

Nope. Registering my car helps establish Colorado residency for next year. Which qualifies me for in-state tuition. If I don't get that, I have to come up with, oh, $15,000, because the department only offers one year of out-of-state tuition remission.

However my parents have offered to keep me on the insurance, thank goodness. I wouldn't have been able to stay within my budget otherwise.
