Home is behind, the world ahead, |
On the other hand, there are fewer good drummers around, in my experience. We are soooo lucky to have the guy who plays with us. We play MUCH worse when he's not here! Really makes the band work.
Cookies sound really good. I've got ice cream, but sometimes I'd like something in between classes, you know?
It's just unfair that granola is high in carb. Seems like it should at least have fiber, but it doesn't.
Hah! On the plus side, I've got a new FMA tonight! Woot! That makes the long day worth having faced.
I wuv my guitar...
A nightmare walking.
I'm trying to get away from what I'm starting to think of as "mental" hunger...i.e. I can eat a great lunch and be full...but I still feel like I gotta have a dessert. And when I get home from work, I always want something to eat the second I walk in the door, even if I already had a snack earlier in the afternoon. Just habit, I guess...but it's vey tough to get away from.
But I'm not good at not snacking.
But the cookies will be a good dessert, and already in portion sizes that are appropriate. So that's good.
Snacks are tough on this diet, really - portable ones, that is. NOW I can have fruit, and I guess cheese is kinda portable, but...you know what I mean.
I'm behind on FMA! Gotta get some in tomorrow evening.

Is there a way to automatically refresh a page in Explorer?
Lots of Mac software is also available for the PC... you might check what software the church has and see if they make a version for the PC, if they do then he won't have to learn two different programs. I'll also do some checking to see what's considered "good".
Yes, you do have to get it in!
I'm finding it much easier to stay on the diet when I have to lug my lunch to school, and then get back exhausted and with homework. I'll just do all my meal prep/planning on weekends.
Wife said in the 70s she always wanted to learn to play the flute, 'cause you couldn't sit out under a tree and play the piano...
Hit "F5" on the top row.
Besides hitting F5, you mean?
Yeah...automatically...can I program it somewhere to refresh a page like every minute on it's own?
I lug my lunch to work...but then I sit at a desk all day.
My main problem is in the evening, though. Hard to break habits of snacking while watching movies, reading, etc.
But drinking water helps. Maybe that's part of why it's pushed so much.
I THINK that would have to go in the code of a page, rather than being something you could control from your end.
But I'm not a programmer. So...I dunno.
Be a nifty tool, if you could.
Oh well...I gotta go. Good night all! See you all first thing in the morning! Don't move without me!
Keep me posted about the pets, hair!
I've been drinking tons of water recently! It's so dry out here, you have to.
And walking. Ten minutes between the department and the other buildings where we have class, and there's one class a day in one of those. Seven minutes from the bus to the department. It's not one nice chunk, but all together it ought to be ok.
Thank you!
Maybe I should be grateful we have to walk a long way each way to get to the cars right now...
Hey, it all adds up!
Well, I'm gonna go start my latest book and read for a little while before going to bed. Gotta get up bright and early to walk on the treadmill. Least I get to listen to Round the World...though the narrator is still getting on my nerves.
