Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

It only looks fantastic right in that spot. That's the new grass where we put the stepping stone path... the rest of the grass is now dead weeds, after weed-n-feeding. There wasn't a lot of real grass in it!

Oh, my poor Cartman!
There are ointments and other drugs to treat glaucoma, but his eye is already starting to bulge, which indicates an advanced stage of the disease.
I wish I had better news, but even after research, it seems that removing the eye may be the best and only way to resolve it. :-(
It will not rupture unless he receives a blow to the area or physically punctures it, however the pressure will continue to build behind the eye causing great pain (think migraine headache pain).
Like most animals, no outwards displays of pain will appear until it is unbearable and he will retreat to dark places and may even become suddenly aggressive.
How much will it cost to have it removed, Hair? I'm more than willing to pitch in!!

Say, did you ever get an answer on your question about a low-cost HTML editor? If not,
here's the one I use. It's shareware, but inexpensive, and you can try it for a while before deciding whether you want to buy it.

I don't think it'll cost that much, it shouldn't be a ~long~ surgery, and anesthetic is by the pound, so, relative to my horse, it's cheap! Thanks for offerin, though, you're the best!
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Bear, I was wondering if, since you're techie-ish, you'd ever heard of a freeware program called Eclipse? Apparently it's, among other things, a Java development enviroment. I'm being required to use it for one class... don't like large freeware programs in general. Little ones, you know someone probably did it as a labor of love. Big ones, someone just wants to say "I was part of that!"
