Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Afternoon, All.
Fell asleep on the couch last night so I'm gonna watch the Flying Saucers again.

FMA stuff: Hohenheim turns out to one of the names of the historical alchemist Paracelus. I wonder if historical-Dante was involved in alchemy at all?
I guess Dante is "that person", huh? What did Hohenheim mean by "stop decieving my sons", anyway? And where has he been? Part of me wonders if maybe he was locked up in the 5th laboratory, since he picks now to show up...
Ed had a bad episode, didn't he? Oh, but he's so good at looking angsty.

Huh, did the hurricanes kill the thread?
Lovely, lovely day here. Hope it's nice tomorrow since I'm off work - maybe, unless they need me. Darn cell phones.
Spent all day trying to solve a problem only to discover that it was a tiny little issue caused by someone forgetting to reset a setting on the server the other day. Oh well! I'm not too upset about it, there wasn't anything else to do anyway.

I know you don't need it, but I wish we has two big pantloads of rain coming toward us!
Hullo everyone, I'm home! Got ecurbh's car fixed. Is it Friday yet?

I slept on the couch too last night! Like I say, it's really comfy. Steve was so wore out that when I went to bed last night he was snoring loudly and stretched out clear across the bed! I didn't have the heart to wake him and make him get his butt over (like I normally would).
So I hit the couch.
I ordered the flying saucers movie for the jedis from my Walmart DVD club and they emailed me that it was sent this afternoon.

I fell asleep during the movie last night.
I tell ya. For advanced beings ya'd think the aliens could design a better spacesuit! :)
It has special features that I haven't seen yet. I like it when they have Ray Harryhausen taking about stop motion animation.

Is it Friday yet?Is it 7:30pm yet? That's what time the jedis start getting their baths and start heading to bed. Joshua has to be in bed by 8:00pm, so does Matthew, but he can sit up and read till 9:00pm.

Elijah Wood visits sick kids at a children's hosipital in Prague.

OK - So why does Elijah Wood go out of his way to look like the nerdy version of the dad in Back to the Future?
