Makes sense, probably the worst show ever conceived. Not to mention he only has very liberal people on his show. Plus he looks like somebody force feeds him lemons.

My wife and I saw the first episode and our jaws were hanging open at how bad it was. How anyone EVER thought Johnny Mac could host a talk show is beyond me. He's crabby, doesn't like asking questions, responds in one-word answers. That makes him a bad guest, let alone a host. Absolutely bizarre.

In addition, he wears an uninformed liberalism on his sleeve, has his wife/girlfriend/whatever leading a terrible house band... what a train wreck.

Dennis Miller has the BEST show on CNBC!! He has smart guests...he's funny...and it's very entertaining. Hope he stays on PLUS he is more conservative than Joe Scarborough, a former Republican Congreesman, on MSNBC.

I happened upon it last night. It was really bad. First they had Obama at the Dem convention site (I guess they didn't know everyone had left) "talking" with John Cusak. They had an inane conversation about how the left now has a bad reputation. It seems most of this came from the excesses of the 60's. Cusak just sat there shaking his head in agreement.

Then the show went back to the studio were McEnroe interviewed Mark Cuban. The interview consisted of who could bash President Bush best.

Then McEnroe sang a rock and roll song badly.

Very very bad show. I might have seen the swan song last night after these ratings.

Although I've never been able to force myself to watch him on CNBC, I'd pay $27 to watch Johnny Mac play tennis if the Seniors Tour were resurrected. And he is a good commentator on NBC's Wimbledon coverage.

[from Tennis Magazine] The seniors really haven't had a "tour" in the U.S. for two years, when the Seniors Champions Tour, started by Jimmy Connors in 1992, shut down. Currently there are one-off events in Europe, which include John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Michael Stich, and Guy Forget. If you have the Tennis Channel, they've recently been showing last December's Honda Challenge in London, which McEnroe won.

I thought nobody could pull in less viewers than Donahue. I was wrong.

Maybe they'll replace him ...with Todd Bertuzzi.

I didn't think Mark Cuban would be a Bush-basher, but I guess I learn something new every day. What exactly did he say?

If he'd promise to club Al Frankenfraud over the head with a tennis racket I'd watch it.

WOW...why does the media think McEnroe has one of those "Q" factors? He's unlikeable. Plain and simple. They tried a game show and it didn't work. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT ON A GAME SHOW, you might as well give up.

Good old Tennispro Mc. loudly and convincingly stated on his show that Bush must go...followed by supportive applause from his obviously opinionated audience.
That's when I realized to what clientele he's catering to.
Such assessment was the last time I choose to select him. He always had a big mouth, this time he obviously fouled himself out.
