I have no idea - it was the weirdest thing........was going through my comments and they all showed that weird date - but when I would go to the thread the article showed the correct date and time of the posting - but every other post showed the 12/31/69 date and 7pm est.........

Very Weird...............(twilight music in background)

I cannot be cajoled to watch SNL and haven't been able to see it for years. It stopped being funny when Eddie Murphy left. I know that dates me but that's when they decided to just be gross instead of funny and saw themselves as cutting edge political pundits. Besides, it runs at the same time as Austin City Limits and music is a priority!

Has anyone else heard anything about Kerry's swift boat companions coming out with a big story on August 17th about what really happened on that boat? Will that be during the convention?

SNL's peak, IMHO, was when they had Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Jane Curtin, Belushi and Ayckroyd.
(Notice I omit Chevy Chase, as he has turned into a total nitwit).

And, yes, Austin City Limits is a must-see around the Grim house, too... despite its being on the loony PBS.

You know one of the things I like best about Bill Murray? (No, not that he plays golf) It's that I have no idea how he votes every year.

The democrats lie and cajole
Attempting to win back control
Despite all the lying
Complaining and crying
November ain't Clinton v. Dole

I'm back from work early!

Ketchup Kerry and the rest of the 'rats
Are following X42's goal
To get the vote of the sheeple
They will flatter, lie and cajole

It's all done with smoke and mirrors
As deceptive as it can get
With Edwards smiling mindlessly
While Ketchup tells us we must not fret

He says Bush exaggerates the terror threat
To scare us because he's mean
Then his line is taken up even louder
By demented Howard Dean

"Clinton versus Dole"

Bwaahaa! That is a small detail they seem to keep forgetting-that and the fact that Kerry isn't Mr. Personality and someone would have to tighten Edwards' choke chain every time an ambulance went by...

New Years 1969? Exploding pants? Kitty litter cakes? Now I'm really confused-and I still want to know what a "beeber" is, damnit...

I don't know why, but I let hubby talk me into making sausage, new potatoes and (gag!) sauerkraut for him tonight. I actually wear one of my painters' masks while I cook the stuff, and turn the echaust fan over the cooktop on full blast. I'm going to make a cucumber, onion, olive and tomato salad for my supper.

No need setting a place for me tonight. Sounds icky! And while I love olive oil, I'm afraid of olives - some weird childhood experience I really can't remember. :)
