Aimee Penny Update!

I got the following e-mail from Penny's new family today:

Hello!

I just wanted to send you a few pictures of Penny. I am also including one of JT. [Their other cat; Penny's buddy.] At her last vet visit, she was 3.4 lbs! She is going in to be spayed in 2 weeks, so I'll get her weight again then...she is getting so big! She got her first set of vaccinations a week and a half ago. She didn't like her vaccinations too well, and ended up with a fever 2 days later, and after another vet visit, got more antibiotics, but she is doing very well now. She loves to play in boxes, and even in their carrier...anything that she can jump into, hide, and attack in! Enjoy the pics! And thank you again for letting me adopt her! She is wonderful!

And here are the pics:

"Nothing like a home-cooked meal!"

"Bathe me and die!"

"OK, now I'm ready to bounce off the walls and ceiling some more!"

"I wanna be a Viking Kitty!"

Thanks for these wonderful pictures! Anyone who would take in a little loveball like this, knowing that its life may be short, has a special place in my heart.

There are so many animals who are willing to give their hearts to anyone who'll give them a bowl of food, a little water, and a warm place to sleep.

Not too much to ask for a life of unconditional love.

Aw, you new kitty reminds me of my Felix. I had to let him go last year at 18 years old. He had grey and cream coloring with green eyes. On his tail it was grey and white striped with a white end to it. It looked like the end of a paint brush dipped in white paint. Seeing his tail was the only way we could find him at night. He was a cool cat and didn't mind showing emotion.

I missed this thread the first time around. IMHO, there's a special place in Heaven for you for your act of kindness. God bless.
