Well, thanks Slings. We are a family of animal lovers, although we do not go over the top into thinking they are people, or our children. Of course, if I bump into them, I always apologize. I have to laugh at myself saying sorry to Sophie who once caused a broken toe when I tried not to disturb her. I look forward to more stories of you and Zia.
Oh what a doll! Yesterday a stray followed my daughter up on the deck. That makes two strays and four indoor cats!
what an adorable, innocent baby! Hope she can find the good home she deserves. You have done so much to protect and take care of this baby, you need to be commended.
I'd take her, but I've got four cats and three dogs, and I won't risk FeLV around my babies.
Poor cat, never really had much of a chance. Probably got it from momma.
Thanks for the ping. Good looking little girl.
Thanks - I'm just a sucker for a pretty face.
That's the consensus. Apparently one of my neighbors found the litter sans mama, brought them to our neighborhood, and fed and let them run free while not providing any medical care. G-d save us all from well-intentioned fools.
You're welcome. Just hope I can find a home for her.
" Saving kids who have no one to help them is much more important than saving cats who have no one to help them "
I think that helping animals is just as important. We owe it to God to love and take care of His creatures - after all, they cannot speak for themselves and they give back so much. I will do so until the day that I die.
Perhaps if there were a kid handy needing help, a person
who would help any helpless animal would be more likely to
help a kid than someone who wouldn't also help an animal.
What an adorable little face. I really hope you can find a home for her so she can live out the years that she has.
Thanks - from your mouth to G-d's ears.
What a gorgeous beast. Bump for kitty interferon or something to help the little cat critter.
Thanks - on Aimee's behalf, I'll take all the help I can get.
adorable. Wish I could help but I know I cannot.
Prayer ping. Also, a ping for some kindhearted soul to offer a home for a FeLV+ kitten. See post 72.
Please post your replies to Slings and Arrows
Slings and Arrows, Praying for Aimee, for long life, and a good home. Also praying for you. I know you are doing what you can to protect this precious kitty, May God bless you for your selflessness!
Blessings,
Trussell
If you want on or off my prayer ping list, please let me know. All requests happily honored.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Like I said before, I'll take all the help I can get.
However, if there is a So CA FReeper reading this who has or will have a kitten of any short haired variety, FReepmail me. My middle son is ready for his first pet. (Female only -- we have had spraying problems with males.)
Myrtle Beach is in South Carolina.
I understand, of course - if I didn't have an uninfected kitty I'd take her myself. Best of luck in your kitty search.
You're very welcome. I have a wonderful, beautiful dog; who seems to be having a problem with seizures. She is a member of my family and I would do anything for her. I pray for her and I cry for her.
Any animal is worthy of our prayers and our tears. They are precious members of our homes, who depend on us for their care! Thank you for caring enough for Aimee to try to help her and find her a good home!
Bless you!!
