May God help you find a home for the kitten and set your mind at ease, in Jesus' name.

Success!
BestFriends.org, a no-kill shelter for hard-to-place animals, has agreed to take Aimee! Now all I need to do is to get her there - I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC; the shelter's in Utah. Any tips? Will sending her by air be a problem?
To: Slings and Arrows
Many airlines have a pet embargo during the hot summer months. Best to check with the individual airline you plan to use to transport Aimee.

Maybe you could have a chain of Freepers transport her. Maybe you could drive 50 or so miles west and hand her off to a Freeper in that area who could drive west and hand her off to another Freeper, etc.

That is a great idea! Thanks!

I'd volunteer, but I'm in Louisiana. Who knows, maybe someone will fall in love with the kitty and take her home.

Sorry again. (I've seen the name Aimee on the ping list so many times it kinda burned into my brain).

You, My Fellow Freeper, are the reason my Catholic Confirmation name is Francis.
I applaud your devotion to this animal, and God has a special place in Heaven reserved for you....
There MUST be some group, or organization, or something, or someone, around you, who is willing to take in this animal.
What about an old-folks' home? or an old neighbor, or relative?
I truly wish I could help.

Before your kind words go to my head, I'll mention that I've found a group in Utah that's willing to take her. I now need to get her there from Myrtle Beach, SC. I'm not sure if an airline of air cargo company wil take her due to the FeLV. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ping to #115. I recall that you recently got a adopted dog cross-country to a new home. Would you have any advice on how to do this for my FeLV+ kitty, please?
To: HairOfTheDog
Whoops! Meant ping to #105.

The shelter in Kanab, Utah? I have a willing driver that can get her from Phoenix to Kanab if needed.
Let me know.
