I have been looking to see who all is still chatting about Lori. Seems that the chatter has come to an end. Is this because there are only minimal updates to this story???

The reason people have responded so quickly is because you started a whole new thread to ask your question which makes it scroll down the Latest Posts page. This is where everyone checks to see what's being talked about on FR.
If you had asked your question inside one of the numerous threads already running, you wouldn't have gotten the response you did. Don't worry about it...it happens.

Does anyone have any new information about Lori?? The cops are being soooooo tight lipped about this one!!! And soooo much conflicting information! Whew!
Bonaparte has a ping list for anything new on Lori. Search him by poster name and I'm sure he will be happy to add you to his list. Welcome to Freerepublic :) You'll find with these cases that there are always a few that join the threads just to bitch about the content. Ignore 'em :)

To ping someone, put their name in the "To:" box on the reply page. There will be a "New posts to you" message at the top right hand corner of the screen when they log on to FR or when they refresh the latest posts page. When they click on that it takes them to their "My comments" page. They can then see who has sent them a message.
