Kerry sweating during speech. (Vanity)

Posted on 07/29/2004 8:05:00 PM PDT by Names Ash Housewares

I watched about two minutes of the speech just to see what he sounded like, still monotone, but he looked sweaty to me, not a lot. Enough I noticed, I thought it was just me. My girlfreind without my prodding said he was sweating when she tuned in for a little bit too. Shes not a political nut like us, observing every little detail either. Then she said. "Nixon". I noticed he looked in the camera a couple times with kind of a blank look. Im not sure how to describe the look really, kinda like he was scared. Im I imagining things? I didnt watch very long. Ill read what he said. Cant stand to look at the guy that long.

Hail to the King Baby.

He was hoping that no one would catch his lies and the lines he ripped off of Reagan. Than the blood libel he made on Ronald Reagan's religious views.

Did you know he sweated in Viet Nam? He's a Viet Nam vet in case you didn't know.

You'd probably sweat too if you were expecting to be struck by lightning at any moment.

I suggest it is exceptionally warm at the podium. The lights and the cummulative heat of over 10,000 people in the arena.

I thought he was looking very insecure and not certain how his speech was going to be received. I don't know who his makeup artist was, but it looked like if he was on much longer his face was going to go into a meltdown.

Watched the entire speech. It was dreadful. Lies and more lies.

However, he DID promise to strike back if we are attacked.

Isn't that comforting.

G-d help us.

It's also the name of a very "famous" FR disruptor back in the day.

He had several handles, all including the word "ash."

Did Clinton or Bush 41 or 43 sweat much at their conventions? I think its important, It can have a subliminal effect on how people perceive others. the Nixon/Kennedy debates showed that people listening on Radio thought Nixon won, the people watching on TV thought Kennedy won. Nixon sweated and passed on the make up. Kennedy didnt.

I was a little surprised when he suspended his speech and performed a gay marriage. But I understand they like that sort of thing in Boston.

I noticed the sweating too. I kept thinking it was a Richard Nixon moment (the Kenendy- Nixon debate). For the shallow voter, that sweating thing isn't going to cut it.

Yeah. He did seem insecure. Maybe that's why he was sweating so much. By the way, great screen name.

Then I will personally accept responsiblity and work hard to remove the negative history of the name.! It explains why people were posting "ash alert" when I first started posting :)

Hail to the King Baby.
