this could be interesting. the guy is a physical freak and has a big heart when it comes to effort. Met him once and he seemed like a jerk, but who knows. I think he was smart to quit pro wrestling if he ever wants to spend time with his kid.

The guy hasn't played ball in eight years and they're going to sign him? What are they going off of, his best Homecoming game?
To: Rakkasan1
He might just pull it off. He has size, speed, and strength.
The only big questions are experience and football sense.

XFL, maybe.
NFL, I don't think so.

Any team that would cut the great longsnapper Mike Morris (#68)is doomed.
To: ShadowDancer
He has been in camp trying out with them for months, its not as if he called and they put him on the team. No he has not played ball in years but he has kept himself in phenomenal shape.. After the tryouts they feel he is worth the shot..

I look forward to watching this moron try to tackle Ahman Green. It will be like watching Bosworth vs. Bo Jackson all over again.

The guy hasn't played ball in eight years and they're going to sign him? What are they going off of, his best Homecoming game? Nope. They're going off this:
"The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Goliath, the guy who benches 475 pounds, squats 695 pounds... ... A few weeks after his wrestling career came to an end with a Wrestlemania loss to Goldberg, Lesnar ran the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds, a blistering time for a man his size. He has a 10-foot standing broad jump. A 35-inch vertical leap, not to mention the bench and squat numbers. It's the tools of an NFL running back power packed into a gladiator's frame."
It's one of those gamble decisions, but not a huge one. If the investment pays off, wowza. If not, you wasted a roster spot and some time.

Gopher wrestling is still on the books and currently an Olympic event. Midget wrestling was however discontinued after numerous complaints from Lil' Tommy Daschle.

I thought he was just hiding from Eddie Gurerro holmes.
BTW Do you know what happened to StoneColdl Steve Austin? He just vanished.

In the late 1980s the Pitt Steelers drafted a college wrestler named Carlton Haselrig in the 11th round of the draft.
The guy was a project, but his wrestling fundamentals translated well to being an offensive lineman and about 4-5 years into his football career he actually made the pro bowl. He then developed mental problems which sadly wrecked both his football career and his life.
This guy is only 26, and may well be worth taking a chance on.

Thanks. He's a behemoth and can move to boot.

He seems to have disappeared from SmackDown! a few months ago.
