My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning, Colonel.
The Last Ride Together
Robert Browning
Interesting work takes place in two worlds.
I would indeed be blessed
you see
to hold you near my loving breast
in this world or the one to come
my love is stronger these last days
with dreams of ever after
so ride with me this day
and be my soul mate lover
To: Colonel_Flagg
Then we began to ride. My soul Smoothed itself out, a long-cramped scroll Freshening and fluttering in the wind. I like that. A good description of what it's like to feel wonderful.

Morning snippy!!
Yes, thanks, we Finns manage to have a good time wherever we are. We are in the final planning stages of our turn in the barrel for a Regional Conference.

No gentle winds, seek not my heart,
For simply ... it has torn apart.Sad poem. Good music.

~ Dream a Little ~ Love a Lot ~
I remember the color your hair was... the color of spiced rum With memories of you walking without me in gentle oriental rain Left me with dreams of being lost in your embrace. The peace in your eyes shone through I was lost, lost in your eyes ..........lost in your embrace... Dreams of you at Indian Twilight...

Dogs Don't Have Souls, Do They?

I remember bringing you home. You were so small and cuddly with your tiny paws and soft fur.
You bounced around the room with eyes flashing and ears flopping.
Once in a while, you'd let out a little yelp just to let me know this was your territory.
Making a mess of the house and chewing on everything in sight became a passion and when I scolded you, you just put your head down and looked up at me with those innocent eyes as if to say: "I'm sorry, but I'll do it again as soon as you're not watching."
As you got older, you protected me by looking out the window and barking at everyone who walked by.
When I had a tough day at work, you would be waiting for me with your tail wagging just to say, "Welcome home, I missed you."
You never had a bad day and I could always count on you to be there for me.
When I sat down to read the paper and watch TV, you would hop on my lap looking for attention.
You never asked for anything more than to have me pat your head, so you could go to sleep with your head over my leg.
As you got older, you moved around more slowly. Then one day, old age finally took its toll, and you couldn't stand on those wobbly legs anymore. I knelt down and patted you lying there, trying to make you young again.
You just looked up at me as if to say you were old and tired and that after all these years of not asking for anything, you had to ask me to do one last favor.
With tears in my eyes, I drove you one last time to the vet. One last time you were lying next to me.
For some strange reason you were able to stand up in the animal hospital - perhaps it was your sense of pride.
As the vet led you away, you stopped for an instant, turned your head and looked at me as if to say: "Thank you for taking care of me."
I thought, "No - thank YOU for taking care of ME!"

Good morning, Sam.
Dogs Don't Have Souls, Do They?
Oh made me cry here. Nothing like the loyalty of a dog or cat. Having to put them down is hard. A good poem written from the heart.
Thanks for all.
To: SAMWolf
Ok. No fair making me cry first thing in the morning.

Thanks a ton. My eyes were dry and tired. They aren't dry anymore. Here is one about my LulaBelle. She is almost 3 years old now.
Our Friend
She guards the house and waits for us,
Whenever were away.
When we get home, she jumps and shakes,
She does this everyday.
It matters not how long were gone,
All day or minutes few.
She greets us like she missed us so,
I say, We missed you too.
Shell come to me and stare a while,
As if she wants to talk.
I speak her name, she wags her tail,
I take her for a walk.
She gets excited like a pup,
When we go for a ride.
She never cares just where we go,
If she is by our side.
I must admit she listens well,
And never does she judge.
She tries to keep us on the path,
With just the slightest nudge.
She thinks shes watching over us,
She thinks thats why shes there.
Well never tell her differently,
She does her job with care.
