I did a search and did not see this announced. I went to Amazon.com just to check the price on something and on the front page was info about pre-ordering the Passion of the Christ. Looks like it is being released on dvd on August 31, 2004 and places like amazon are taking pre-orders now. Just a head's up.
Thanks! I thnk WalMart.com is taking pre-orders for $17.99 too.
Shoot. I could get a DVD of the Passion in Indonesia on Feb. 27.
It only cost about $1.50, too.
yeah, hubby brought a couple of those buck fifty things home from NY one time--needless to say, we bought the dvds eventually--LOL.
Plus, this is one dvd that I don't mine lining the pockets of the artists involved so I'll gladly pay its going price.

You know im kind of confused.... but also im really, really, enjoying the fact that liberals like Dukakis, or expecially Micheal Newdow, havent sued Mel Gibson for infringing on their rights with this. I mean these crazed weirdo's have lobbied against the Pledge of Allegiance for those "dreadful" (sarcasim) words "under God". You know, im glad their not sueing because of this movie (which i loved), but im really surprised that they havent. Come on guys say something about this so the public (once again) can see how stupid you are. COME ON LIBERALS RAISE UP!!! hahahahahahahaha. See i love it when liberals attack the pledge and the words "under God", not because i myself attack it (I am all for the words under God, and am all for the Pledge and i say both of them very proudly), but because i like it when extremist liberals show people with common sence how far out they are, because it keeps those idiots out of office :-).
I'd rather Gibson get some of the profits.
I agree with you. I know they were pirated. It is very hard to buy an original DVD over there. I'm just saying that they were available 2 days after the movie opened.
I thought it was awesome on the big screen. I plan to get the DVD too.
