Tom Harkins lied to me he said that he would call me 2 to 3 weeks after the eliction and help me get my ssi or disibility.

he has never called to help he stole a vote theffs belong in jail

I have tried to get ssi and disability for the last 14 years I was not working at the time that I started for it they denied me then now whty denie me now because I am working part time becaus the goverment forced me to work

Now I have dizzy spells,pain all over heart condition, artharides, rupcherd disks in my kneck an dlower back, nerves ripping away from my mussels, and other things and stilled denied.

I am only able to work part time Vokrehab has told me by my medical records,that I would never be able to work full time again or be retrained they said this infront of the disability judge

I belive that Senator Tom harkins does not what to help me because his wife ( Ruth Harkins ) sent me to a treatment center in Mason City Iowa, 30 years ago and I was badly abused there as a child and he does not know how to deal with it

I can't believe you would come here and bad-mouth Senator Harkin, after all the work he has done fighting for worthy causes. Harkin stood with Barbara Boxer to get that awful "Don't ask, don't tell" language removed thereby allowing gay military persons to be "out and proud" while serving their country.

Harkin has consistently voted to allow abortion right up to the ninth month, and provide federal funding for same. He has fought to allow abortions on military bases, even overseas.

He has worked tirelessly to add sexual orientation to the list of "hate crimes". He has advocated increased funding for Affirmative action programs. He even voted yes to setting aside 10% of highway funds for minorities & women.

Don't expect any sympathy from us when you start off by demeaning such a fine an efficacious statesman as Tom Harkin.
