Sigh. We'll find out in eight more races. Someone on another forum said it goes up in five-point increments. The leading driver starts with 5 points, then each driver get's 5 more so that the driver in 10th is only 50 points out of the lead. I don't know if that's correct, but the scheme does go something along those lines. Really doesn't seem fair to the teams that have worked so hard to be consistent and win races all year.
