Did you read what I am doing?
1/2 hour treadmill 4-5 times a week, 1200 calories a day. My doctor says I should be losing weight.
I am not looking for something to bypass physics nor a magic bullet. Just looking to see if there is something that will help me kick the process along in addition to what I am doing.
Well, one would surmise from that description that the essential variable lies in WHAT you are eating, not how much. The low-carb diets have been getting panned in the media of late, but I still think they are fundamentally on target, especially in their focus on sugar. You don't necessarily have to follow the severe recommendations of the Atkins. But try cutting out bread and potatoes for awhile, and ALL things rich in sugar. I don't know all the science. But the eating of more protein is also supposed to be related to the production of a fat-buring sunstance. Anyway, it worked for me.
start lifting weights the more muscle you have the more fat you burn . I lost about 40lbs . Good luck!
OOPS!!...posted to the wrong one before...
You aren't eating enough to lose weight. You need to have a look at "Body for Life"...six small meals a day, six days a week...check into it
My dad does Jenny Craig regularly and swears by them. They are big advocates of drinking lots of water. Are you doing that?
