That is a good guess, but no, actually he put in themovie. He was watching the second half of it alone downstairs with all the lights off. *We* were upstairs and saw him watching, so I sent PE to get the camera :-)

PE sneaked downstairs behind elf-boy, and took the picture, the flash surprised him and hence the hands were raised.
