You mentioned Turkish coffee the other day so I looked up how to make it and made some. Whooo! Strong!

I like it!

I love good coffee...

This is just my plain aldis brand coffee, I ground it up a little finer. You just boil it with sugar. I put my splenda in afterward...

I loved the typical coffee in Germany. I imagine the Viennese coffee is similar? It was strong without being at all bitter.

I actually had people send me German coffee for awhile, until they returned to the US. But now I can get the same brand at the natural foods store. Kewl!

You're supposed to take the darkest roast coffee you can get and have it ground finer than espresso grind...

Then you boil a cup of water, and add 4 tsp of the ground coffee and 4 tsp of sugar, boiling for a bit till it foams. (Mine didn't foam...must be the sugar that causes the foam.) Take it off the flame and let it sit to let the grounds settle. Then you spoon the foam into a little cup and then pour the coffee in. There will be grounds in the coffee.

I don't know about the German coffee. We actually haven't opened the Viennese coffee yet. Had some of the Brazilian coffee last night. It was good, but we didn't make it strong enough.

We're so used to knowing how many beans to grind that it's difficult to get the right amount of pre-ground coffee.

You might have to stick with the singular thought you want to leave your audience and cut out any sentences and/or words that give the idea that there are other thoughts dangling. I cannot conceive of a two minute dialogue, but I never had practice doing it, so I couldnt say what is really effective. Most of the time when participating in acting competitions, the dialogue's lowest limit was five minutes.

Break a leg, Corin!

Excuse me, senor--perhaps I can be of assistance. . .?

I remember the grounds...and that it was kinda the Jolt of coffee. Of course, at that point I would just LOAD coffee with sugar, so it was probably even sweeter than I remember.

I find I usually have to say that several times before it actually gets done, LOL!

Heh...I know how that is.

But usually if I'm using GOOD ground coffee, I use a heaping tablespoon per cup plus a little extra.
