You might have to stick with the singular thought you want to leave your audience and cut out any sentences and/or words that give the idea that there are other thoughts dangling. I cannot conceive of a two minute dialogue, but I never had practice doing it, so I couldnt say what is really effective. Most of the time when participating in acting competitions, the dialogue's lowest limit was five minutes.

Probably for most of the people in the class two minutes is an eternity. But I'm used to writing. More used to writing than speaking/performing. So I it's easier for me to have more material to work with.
Besides, I'm taking about me fercryinoutloud.
If I can get it to under 3 minutes, I'm just gonna run with it...
