Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Thanks for letting us know what you can. We just have to remember to respect her privacy. If you talk to her again before she comes back, let her know we're all thinking about her and praying for her.

I thought it would be rude to do a cool-number spam at a time like this...
Man, I'm glad my dentist appointment is next Monday, not this.

I need to make a dental appointment. As usual, I'm putting it off.
I detest having anything dental done. Just the feeling of not being able to swallow is horrible. And a lot of them use that "dam" thing where they put a big sheet of rubber in your mouth...know what I mean? Being somewhat claustrophobic...I have to force myself to do deep breathing whenever I'm in the chair. *shudder*

Sounds like you need a new dentist! Ask around. If there's one who's good, his patients will rave... even if you've been going one place forever, it's worth trying to switch. That's what I did, and I'm glad.
Sigh... two hours until I can go home...

Naw...my dentist is wonderful! It's I who have the problem. No matter HOW good someone is...I still don't want their hands in my mouth.

Still, you don't want cavities! Make the appointment, once it's on the calendar you won't chicken out.

Friends don't let friends neglect their dental hygiene.
After all, if I ship you cookies, doesn't that make me responsible for your cavities? ;-)

Heh...
Keeping my fingers crossed that they arrive today!
And that the weather is sort of OK when I get off...I'll enjoy them more if I can get outdoor chores done first!

Bay has been laying down and getting back up and laying down and getting back up this morning... we are afraid he may have colic.
The vet is on his way.

Haven't tried this, but it SOUNDS good...
Peanut butter cups
1 oz unsweetened baking
chocolate
1 stick butter
8 splenda packets
4 tablespoons peanut
butter
Melt slowly together until
smooth. Spoon into muffin
cups lined with paper or
alumnimum cups (the
aluminum ones pop off
easier). Put into freezer for 1
hour.
Makes 12 cups.
Carbs per serving: 2.2g

we are afraid he may have colic... Fer a baby you can hold 'em over your shoulder and walk with 'em. And rub their stomach some too.
Not sure how that would work with a pony.
To: Corin Stormhands
Hmm, it's an interesting image.... if someone tries it, I want pics.
