Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yep, we're still doing Netflix, that's why we like the site. We can get the whole scoop on a movie!

GRPL is the "Great Reformed Ping List" in the religion forum. It's the Calvinist ping list.

I don't get it. We've been to this restaurant for lunch 3 times and the first two times it was all Frankie (well mostly) all the time.
Food was still good though...lots more than pasta.

Halfway through the interview she was trying to say I might really be better for a different project position they have doing databases.
I don't know how to feel about that.... this one was going to be an office admin/receptionist/office manager type person here in Oly. The other would be a roving project person that has to travel to client sites and do design work.
She thought I was over qualified for the position until I utterly failed to have a response to "what are you looking for in a job" question. I have no good response to that. I want money, I prefer the work be interesting, and I don't want the job to suck. Other than that, it isn't my life, it isn't my hobby, and it isn't my religion. I am not looking for the job to fill some great emotional need in life.
