I think they just ooze, period.
Super news on the new rig - way to go, Audi.
Good job, there.
Vanessa would arguably be "hot" if one were very, very drunk at closing time...
Seems to me that most of the things out of Mr. Clarke's mouth have proven to be untrue, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised that he may have wilfully withheld the truth on other occasions.
I'm going to see the President (again) tomorrow.
I have a sinus infection which has settled in my throat. Late last week I had no voice at all.
Now I cough whenever I get the least bit over heated.
Given my last experince with 'going to see the President', I am really worried. They put you in this little corral on the floor and have you stand there for a couple of hours before his arrival. I will be carrying a bag of Halls menthol, but I'm afraid to take water because there's this problem of the SS not wanting to let you out of the corral to GO.
Perhaps I'll feel better by morning.
The first one we had was a peach, then we (Mr. B) had to trade it for the rocket ship. I'll let you know how they manage getting us a new car, pay for one month's payment and give us the 30 days of Satellite Radio for free we still have coming.
I noticed that Kerry spiffed up a bit too which made her look even more silly. I'm getting a passive aggressive vibe from the Teresa monster.
WASHINGTON - President Clinton (news - web sites)'s national security adviser, Sandy Berger, is the focus of a criminal investigation after removing highly classified terrorism documents and handwritten notes from a secure reading room during preparations for the Sept. 11 commission hearings, The Associated Press has learned.
Berger's home and office were searched earlier this year by FBI (news - web sites) agents armed with warrants after he voluntarily returned documents to the National Archives. However, some drafts of a sensitive after-action report on the Clinton administration's handling of al-Qaida terror threats during the December 1999 millennium celebration are still missing.
Berger and his lawyer said Monday night he knowingly removed handwritten notes he had made while reading classified anti-terror documents he reviewed at the archives by sticking them in his jacket and pants. He also inadvertently took copies of actual classified documents in a leather portfolio, they said.
"I deeply regret the sloppiness involved, but I had no intention of withholding documents from the commission, and to the contrary, to my knowledge, every document requested by the commission from the Clinton administration was produced," Berger said in a statement to the AP.
Berger served as Clinton's national security adviser for all of the president's second term and most recently has been informally advising Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites). Clinton asked Berger last year to review and select the administration documents that would be turned over to the commission.
The FBI searches of Berger's home and office occurred after National Archives employees told agents they believed they witnessed Berger place documents in his clothing while reviewing sensitive Clinton administration papers, officials said.
When asked, Berger said he returned some classified documents that he found in his office and all of the handwritten notes he had taken from the secure room, but said he could not locate two or three copies of the highly classified millennium terror report.
"In the course of reviewing over several days thousands of pages of documents on behalf of the Clinton administration in connection with requests by the Sept. 11 commission, I inadvertently took a few documents from the Archives," Berger said.
"When I was informed by the Archives that there were documents missing, I immediately returned everything I had except for a few documents that I apparently had accidentally discarded," he said.
Lanny Breuer, one of Berger's attorneys, said his client has offered to cooperate fully with the investigation but had not yet been interviewed by the FBI or prosecutors. Berger has been told he is the subject of the investigation, Breuer said.
Breuer said Berger believed he was looking at copies of the classified documents, not originals.
Government and congressional officials familiar with the investigation, who spoke only on condition of anonymity because the probe involves classified materials, said the investigation remains active and no decision has been made on whether Berger should face criminal charges.
The officials said the missing documents were highly classified, and included critical assessments about the Clinton administration's handling of the millennium terror threats as well as identification of America's terror vulnerabilities at airports to sea ports.
Berger himself had ordered his anti-terror czar Richard Clarke in early 2000 to write the after-action report and has publicly spoken about how the review brought to the forefront the realization that al-Qaida had reached America's shores and required more attention.
Berger said in testimony earlier this year that during the millennium period, "we thwarted threats and I do believe it was important to bring the principals together on a frequent basis" to more regularly consider terror threats.
The missing documents involve two or three draft versions of the report as it was evolving and being refined by the Clinton administration, according to officials and lawyers. The Archives is believed to have copies of some of the missing documents. Link

What did bill and hill know and when....
Hey, me too! ;-)
'The Hot One'
Should be The Hot Dog. Mine is lame too but this family isn't one for dishing out the cutesy knick names...
Alexandra, the tall brunette with model looks, is a filmmaker and actress. "Alex" or "A," as her family calls her, graduated from the American Film Institute last month.
This could direct us to Kerry's nick. Since they like one letter names, they'll think it's kitchy to select the "F" in JFK, and we all know John's favorite word... Could it be? Nahhhhh! But betcha Teresa's uttered it a few times.
At least her shoes aren't horrible, I was expecting Keds or (dare I say it?) flip flops.
Actually, Freeper Liz came up with the perfect lable:
Sandy "Pantload" Berger. LOL!
Here's the WashPost story.
Get a load of this:
Archives staff specially marked the documents and when the new copy and others disappeared, Archives officials called Clinton attorney Bruce Lindsey to report the disappearance. What?!! This was last October! What were they doing calling Lyndsey? Ooooo, this is gonna get goood!
A little funny to make you feel better.
Listening to Ed Koch say he'll vote for GWB is like buttah.
Can't you just savor the vision of federal agents rifling through Pantload's office? Ohhhhh, the shadenfraude!!!
The officials said the missing documents were highly classified, and included critical assessments about the Clinton administration's handling of the millennium terror threats as well as identification of America's terror vulnerabilities at airports to sea ports.
These docs had to go because they verified what the border patrol told the commission, that they hadn't gotten any "be on the lookout" or "holy crud, terrorists could attack, watch out!" alerts, it was by the grace of God and that quick thinking agent that caught that bomber headed for LA.
(If I remember correctly?) Burger, Albright and Clarke all said they had sent out ALERTS to all agencies. Even Reno contradicted their words saying all credit due was the agent's actions, nothing they did.
Please excuse my ignorance, why would calling Bruce Lindsey be juicy? Because he's clinton's attorney, not Pantload's?

Did you see the first few minutes of Matthews tonight? Roger Cressey's eyes were twinkling at the prospect that the dems can claim "we went into the wrong country!" Chris agreed of course. BTW, some thing's seriously wrong with Chris, I think he's finally taken that dive off the deep end.
Berger's theft of the documents was discovered by National Archives employees. Keep in mind this was the SECOND time they'd noted missing files after Berger's visits.
Wouldn't you think they would call the Justice Dept? Why would they call Berger's own attorney? It smells.
I haven't been around FR much lately, so maybe I'm just behind the curve. But I laughed out loud when I saw this.
You know how we refer to Democratic Underground as DU?
Freepers are now apparently calling it the Dirty Underwear site. LOL!
I am blown away by Sandy Pantload Berger!! My gosh, when you consider all the "improprieties" of the Clinton crowd that we know about, how many have gone undetected and/or unreported...
Cheney's two immediate predecessors, Dan Quayle and Al Gore, both took vacation during the opposition's convention. The vice president will break with that tradition.,,,Cheney plans a West Coast campaign swing during the convention, aides say. He will continue headlining re-election rallies and delivering policy speeches contrasting Bush's records with Kerry's, they said, declining to provide details. Cheney also will appear at fund-raisers for Republican congressional candidates."
Per the Washington Post article this morning...
"One or more missing versions of the 15-page memo could not be located among Berger's possessions, and he thinks he probably discarded the papers, Breuer said."
15 pages!!! How does one "inadvertently" remove a 15 page memo stamped "SECRET"?!!!
He reportedly removed several drafts...OF THE SAME 15-page MEMO...on sequential visits to the archives. This was NOT inadvertent.
It's funny, really, that the employees immediately knew Sandy Berger was the document thief. Seems to me the stickyfingered Sandy was doing the Clintons' bidding - express or implied - in swiping the damning documents.
