I hestitate to ask this but its been bugging me a while. I'm completely serious. Can someone please explain to me the relationship of vikings and cats ?

This question could easily be asked in an existing thread except that any thread discussing the topic is closed because the whole point of the discussion stems from the need to zot the thread and those threads are always closed so I can't ask there.

Was there some mythological viking kitty or is it a local creation ? What is the history of the legend of the viking kitty ?

I'm not trolling I'm completely serious. It is one of those usless bits of trivia that I just want to know.

Some Freepers brought it to the attention of Admin Moderator, and the rest is history...
