Some girls are menstruating in the third grade.

If this ever happened to one of my grandaughters I would kill the guy with my bare hands, and damned the consequences.

Sometimes vigilante justice sounds good to me,cheap and quick!

Puberty is happening much earlier now. I believe the average age for onset of menstrual cycles is 9 or 10.

Yes, girls as young as 8 or 9 are menstruating. Ages 10 or 11 is becoming the norm instead of 12. Some people blame animal growth hormones in the food, but it could just be better food and health in general.

I am not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I do remember reading something that all the soy in our food products acts like estrogen in the body. All this soy is even causing girls to go through puberty a lot sooner than normal. Maybe someone thats is smarter than me can back this up and explain it better.

A 9 year old girl who had already gone through puberty? Is this possible?

That was the age my daughter had gone thru puberty. She and two of her friends were all 9. They are 18 now. The girls are starting much earlier for some reason. Must be their eating habits or something.

Unfortunately some girls start menstruating as early as 8 years old.

It is very possible for a 9-year-old girl to get pregnant. The onset of puberty is statistically at a younger age now than it was even 15 years ago. I have several friends with daughters who started their periods at age 9 or 10.

This scumbag should be staked out by a river and let every fisherman passing by cut a piece off him for fishbait.

Of course a nine-year-old can get pregnant. There are plenty of girls who go through puberty at very young ages. I went to elementary school with a few who were fully developed at nine.

The apparent record is for a 5 year old to carry a child to term. (The baby boy was delivered via Caesarean.)
