AND I get paid today. Of course, that paycheck will pretty much go straight to the mortgage, but at least that means I'm not completely broke.

No, I'm happy about this... I worry about stupid things that won't happen. Like, "What if they never got my final transcript", or "What if they forgot I'm coming". Stupid, yes, but I think about them.
