Ha ha, now that was just too easy.
I liked your song Q. I have to go find a Dwight song now.
Traveler's Lantern - by Dwight
If deep in the night
You hear a voice calling
Lost and alone
Barely able to speak
With each weary step
Through cold shadows
they stumble
Blindly along
Frail, hopeless and weak
Chorus:
Won't you set out
a traveler's lantern
Just a small light
that they might see
To guide them back home
Before they wander
Into the dark billows
That crash on the sea
At dawn's rise you may find
The footprints of angels
Brought to fellowship there
By your mercy lamp's flame
Walking beside
The weary soul life's forgotten
Bringing comfort and love
And gently leading their way
Chorus:
Won't you set out
a traveler's lantern
Just a small light
that they might see
To guide them back home
Before they wander
Into the dark billows
That crash on the sea
Hey!! This is 2J!
Us girls (and Bear) just got to Hair's house for a relaxing evening of visiting. I felt like Alice in Wonderland for a while there, it was a surreal experience seeing her horses and her pets and her barn and yard and such...took me a few minutes to get over the shock! It really was a strange feeling.
Hair is uploading a bunch of photos and will posting them soon. The rest are sitting in the living room watching the news...dreadful situation with that hostage...
Glad you're all there safe.
Hi 2J! The horses and stuff sound neat! Aren't you used to that from having your chickens and stuff, though, LOL! Glad to hear you arrived safely :)
Hello. What time is it? We're all at Hair's and since Gidget didn't want to watch Animal Planet, we put FOTR on.
OT
It's almost 2130 here. Was a super long day. I'm trying to unwind. (Big'ol took me out to dinner so I didn't have to cook. What a sweetie!)
It's just that I have been seeing Hair's place online now for over two years...and it was just surreal, seeing it in "real life". Petting Bay (her horse) was just a real treat.
We went to a place to eat today and had the best fish and chips I ever ate in my life. I ate all of mine, some of Ramius's and some of Ruthy's! LOL It was fantastic...
2j
I just had chicken florentine... with crab meat.
Big'ol won't touch the stuff.
Gonna call it a day. Hope everyone has a festive time, I'm looking foward to seeing y'all tomorrow on the cam!
Have fun Have fun Have fun Have FUN!!!
Pictures in just a sec...hold on!!
Hullo! Your dinner sounds wonderful.
I just got back from B&N. I splurged... got 11(!!!) books. Six classics, they were on sale, and five Discworld books. Ah... now, what to read? :-)
The only folk you might not recognize are my friend Sonya in the white t-shirt and clam digger pants, and Scott's Mrs, the blond in pink top and jeans.
Then we had fish and chips at the Tides Tavern! Best Fish and chips anywhere.... I think 2J ate all the leftovers if folk didn't finish theirs...
And here is a toast to 300winmag, who sent along money for us to have something neat together!
Here we are back at my house!
And in the witch's circle!
"It's just that I have been seeing Hair's place online now for over two years...and it was just surreal, seeing it in "real life"."
Kinda like if you walked onto the set of Peter Jackson's Hobbiton! :)
