I'm not sure whether they specified an amendment, but rather said that governments need to understand that marriage is between one man and one woman by God's decree, and nothing will change it. And also the the churches need to teach that, and strengthen the marriages in them.

Usually it's to get out of housework, but right now, I'm trying to convince myself to stop working on a stupid project I got saddled with. There's no way I can even begin to make a dent in it this afternoon. It's Friday for cryin'outloud and I'm going on vacation tomorrow. Can I please just set it aside????

Being banned from FR for a day does something weird to the space-time continuum. Those hours seemed much longer than normal hours.
The new girls are a bit skittish...we didn't hold and love on them like the others. If we catch them, though...they're ok. They'll sit with you.

BTW our discussion of thread-killing nexii has reminded me of a phenomenon my friends and I discovered, the Louis Effect. In high school we had a friend named Louis who for some reason was able to run around with no coat on without getting cold when everyone else was freezing in the Wisconsin winter, and likewise, anyone within approximately 10 feet of him would also be able to do the same. We determined he must be generating some type of force field, which we named "the Louis Effect". Later we attempted to correlate this with the "Chad Effect" generated by my old roommate Chad. Friends of mine from other parts of town would frequently report Chad sightings in random places, which we deduced was caused by some sort of teleportation. We're still working on a Grand Unified Theory which relates the Chad Effect to the Louis Effect. I figure it must tie into thread-killing energy somehow, though.
Yes it's her birthday. Plans were originally that she'd be here to spend time with Luke, but she was not up to the trip. Wednesday I was trying to figure out what to send in a hurry, so I posted a plea for help.
