When we got on our plane, it was about a third full of soldiers going home for R and R, I guess. The captain made some comments about them and we all applauded and thanked them. Then, when we went to exit the plane, we did the same thing...applauded, then we all sat tight till the soldiers got off, before we got off the plane. It was really really neat

We're having such nice weather this week. Wish I had time to be out in it. I'm still winter-pale. Though I'm not supposed to get too much sun, I burn easily and bad things happen. But flourescent lights don't give you much color and I'm getting sick of looking like a vampire or something.
It's overcast here now.... And they keep talking rain, but they keep pushing it to "tomorrow". Just our regular grey skies. I don't mind. That sun thing we had last week can't go on forever, it'd be tiring!
No, it'd be nice to live somewhere with lots of sun. We get more than you do, but not that much more.
So where is the elf?
The elf is in Eastern Washington visiting family till tomorrow!

I should get a picture of some of us in front of Middle Earth Music Hall...they have this big old fashioned wooden door - it's really neat looking.

Places with more sun typically have less shade. The yellow face, it ~burns~ us, precious!
I prefer to think of it as the "Snow White" look...
I turn red, not tan. And it's less painful to be white...
