Well, we are about to call them and then go back up to the beach house today. ecurbh and I haven't even opened presents yet, so we are gonna go do that! ~grin~

Yep, that's Tweetsie Railroad. I've never been. But wife's older sister has sort of made a tradition out of spending time each summer with our boys. Jr. has outgrown Tweetsie, so now it's Luke's turn.

Oooh - we've got to go up to the beach house, we're expected there. WN is going to go back there when she gets back from dropping off 2J and OT. And ecurbh and I are going to finally open our presents.
But it is a great trip, especially if you have never seen the Pacific! I encourage you to go. You can head from here right out to Aberdeen/Hoquiam and go to Long Beach. There are places there where you can drive out onto the beach, but be careful to stay on the firm sand, don't go near the dunes, and stay in 4 whell drive! Or walk out... ;~D (Everyone gets stuck out there the first time they go, there are guys who make a good living pulling tourists off the beach on weekends)
We'll be back here by dark tonight.

Given my recurring nightmares of driving off the road into deep bodies of water, I don't plan to drive anywhere that isn't on very firm asphalt!
