Wedding Pictures!OK, we uploaded these through the hotel's complimentary computer, so we haven't been able to do any editing or anything. They're hugh! So, rather than post them to the thread, I whipped up a simple webpage of links to the photos.
Go here to see picture links!
No time for captions or anything, most are self-explanatory I think! Pics up to #033 were from Friday. Pics from #034 to #060 were from today at the beachhouse!
(Pics #044 & #045 were of the groom posting Msg. #553.)
We're off for some pizza, back later maybe! (maybe not...)
To: SuziQ
The design on that house looks a lot like mine. Looks like a lotta work, too! :)

Thanks for the Wedding pics link! Have a good pizza adventure! Speaking of which that makes me hungry, so I'm off for some food myself. G'night all!

Looks like a lotta work, too! :)You don't know the half of it! We're essentially cloning our house and putting the new part on the back at a 30 degree angle! Needless to say, I've been doing a crash course in Chief Architect to learn how to configure roofs, import plot plan and terrain information, etc.
Next week, we hope to have the plan complete sufficiently to take to the lumber company to get a framing plan done with the I-joists and Glulam beams. Then we get to take it to the town for approval. We're not asking for any variances since we planned the design to come close to, but not over the setback lines, so we shouldn't have any trouble with the town building authority. We just don't know how long it will take them to approve it. May be the same day, may be a week, we just don't know.
Ain't we got fun?

Allright Bear!
That seaplane was sooooo coool. We (the Mrs. and I) were walking the beach pulling on Geoduck necks (or trying to) when all of a sudden we look up and there's this plane "landing" on the water right in front of us. We had no idea it was coming to the wedding. That had to be the coolest departure for a bride and groom from a wedding I've ever seen!

Those were all great pics! So glad so many of you could be there to represent the Hobbit Hole!

That had to be the coolest departure for a bride and groom from a wedding I've ever seen! Even my stick-in-the-mud hubby thought the seaplane was cool.

You guys look great.
What happened to yer Hawaiian print dress Hair?
To: Professional Engineer
What happened to yer Hawaiian print dress Hair?It was a Hawaiian design, NOT a Hawaiian print! Ecurbh's shirt was a Guayabera style; Polynesian, but not printed.
Weren't they just the cutest couple?

Thanks for the kind words regarding our pics. ;) Once we get home I'll be able to do some editing on them to shrink them down a bit for the dial-up folks!
BTW, pizza was very good!
To: SuziQ; Professional Engineer
I may be wrong, but I think ecburh's shirt did have a very faint print on it, hard to see in pics... barely visible in person! Most everyone else there had Hawaiian-type shirts or dresses on, along with a lot of hats, too! Hopefully some of the other folks with cameras got some shots of the guests.
I think Rose's outfit was the best there, but I'm biased...
To: Samwise; Scott from the Left Coast
It was especially cool when the seaplane pilot buzzed the beach a couple of times after take-off... by then I was snapping pics with one of the disposable cameras. I hope I got some good shots of the fun!

And now I'm going to bed before I funkle... good night thread!
To: HairOfTheDog; ecurbh
I couldn't get the camera going past the firewall here at work, where I'm stuck. But at the appropriate moment, I toasted you two with the best liuid refreshments available to me. May you have long, happy lives together.
