In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Havent checked my mood ring yet. Yall behave yourselves, ya hear? Principal JimRob is still out of town. I expect the utmost respect on this thread today. The Mods have been overworked lately.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer.

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
RULES: You must use the WFTD in a sentence for an A. For a + after your A, you must bring in a link of the word usage or something funny, a poem or some prose that will elucidate the word for us.
If you need to know how to link, come to the Subbies desk in the front of the class.

That's cheating. You're supposed to do it slowly to get a correct reading.
You have a lot on your plate, my dear. Need a Xanax?
Please ask and let me know.....remember, I'm on the ES and only 8 miles from the maryland line.
This is the guy who killed that young lady in the park. Is he still married?
I'll go check right now.
I'll bring you an apple today.
I used to have to tranquilize the Great Dane. Their hearing is so sensitive. Then my neighbors' horses would go wild. They would come over to the fence and have my scratch their butts.
Hope he likes bagged salad and cold cereal.
I'm not saying a word..................
Unbelievable! Hope Lucius and the other dog get along.
Yes, he's still married. His son ran for office in his district and lost.
Who's concert?
I'm cranky this morning. Need to go cruise threads and look for a fight.
Well, when you do get your pony, they like their gums scratched also. They will actually lift their lips for you to do it. Horses are a bit strange. I loved the Arab I rode, though. Dang, he loved to run uphill and through trees and thickets and stuff. Just put my head down, gave him plenty of room on the reins and let him go. Kind of like sky diving, only on land.
I bet you think that Garfield can pick the card you chose.

Well I could have gone two lifetimes without knowing about the gum thing. Jittery glassy-eyed dinosaurs!
Go for it, Laura.
I don't read the comics. I know who Garfield is, but does he read fortunes?
