Savage is the Morton Downey Jr. of radio. What's next -- is he going to carve a swastika on himself and claim Bush attacked him?
One other thing -- I thought over the past week what I would say about Clinton, if he were to keel over and die tomorrow, and it would be inappropriate to say anything negative. It would be pretty much what Bush said -- he had a lot of energy and an engaging personality, spent decades in public service, was a decent parent, etc. I would have added that he was good to his mother. Saying such things does not make somebody a Clinton lover; what's more telling is what Bush left out. There wasn't one concrete accomplishment of the Clinton Administration that Bush was able to point out, for one thing!
Is he still on the air?
We have a new "type" of Freeper morphing into a distinct group here, "the Savages." Thankfully, they are not huge in number, and this one, I suspect, may just be on a joy ride.
Yes, thank you Holy Spirit.
Sometimes things are done for the respect of the office and not the man (Clinton) sitting in the office.
I loved the story of Reagan always wearing a coat and tie in the oval office. Then compare it to what Clinton did in the oval office.
"He is desparate for attention and over the top rhetoric seems to be the only way he can get it."
His diabolical plan seems to be working. This is about the 8th "what's with savage" thread I've seen in the last 10 days. Too bad we're all here, and not listening to the radio "to see what he'll say next", and the station manager says in Howard Stern's Private Parts.
That puts him right there with Dan Rather.
He IS a truly repulsive man. I can't understand what reward he gets from his repulsive behavior.............thinking maybe he's just plain crazy.
