Thank you for the beautiful poem, ms. feather. I'll admit the tears are flowing in a steady stream at the moment.

You've all put a smile on this sad lil hillbilly's face.

I knew the day was coming when I'd have to set Tinuviel's spirit free to play in the trees but it was still a blow when it arrived. It's always hard to have a beloved pet put to sleep. We were lucky to get more time with her than we expected when she was diagnosed with cancer last summer. We expected around 6 months and got 11. She and I had 13 wonderful years together

Though I'll miss her dearly for a long time, the bright side is that I still have aaaaaaall these other kitties (3 are Tinuviel's offspring) who have a hold on my heart to love and take care of. They'll keep me plenty busy. :-)
